[Personality]

Thor's most dominant trait is his pride. At the start of his adventure, this pride makes him arrogant and vain: he wants nothing but to prove that he's worthy of the throne of Asgard, worthy of his father, Odin Allfather. This causes him to be rather reckless and to disobey his father's command to not pursue the Frost Giants in their own world. But Thor can't let their breach in the Asgardian vault go unpunished and in other to prove that Asgard is still as strong as before, he defies Odin's command and goes to Jotunheim to have his questions answered. Even in front of the Frost Giant King, Laufy, Thor shows arrogance, demanding to be told how the Giants were able to pass their defenses and his pride blinds him to the possibility of a traitor being amongst the people in Asgard. When offered to go back home without any trouble by Laufy, it only takes a small insult from another Giant to have the God of Thunder start a fight. This shows how he can be short tempered when provoked, and how he can be thirsty for blood. Once home, and after being saved by Odin, Thor's arrogance pushes him to the unthinkable and he insults his own father, calling him an old man and a fool. In hope to humble his son, Odin strips him of his powers and rank and sends him to Midgar, or Earth, so he can become worthy of his powers again.

Despite being stripped of his powers, Thor stays entitled to everything in the first moments he makes it to Earth. But when a young humane female and her team shows him kindness, Thor starts to see things differently. Instead of expecting Jane to give him a ride to the site of Mjolnir's crash, he offers the young woman to help her get her scientific equipment back. But even at that moment, while showing a kindness of his own, Thor seems convinced that his skills will allow him to take Mjolnir back. And while he makes it to the Hammer, the enchantment put on it prevents him from lifting it: he has yet to become what would make him worthy of the weapon again. This failure, a first for Thor, dampens his spirit considerably, to the point where he lets himself be taken by the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. For the God of Thunder, it is the start of his road for redemption and for humility, helped by Loki's lie about his father's death and his mother's order to keep him in exile.

Defeated and rescued yet again by Jane's team, Thor starts to accept the inevitable in his mind: he will have to live as a human on Midgar now. Finding that humans care for one another just as much as he cares for his own family, he accepts to leave the small town in order to protect Jane from being hurt by his actions. After spending one last night with her, where he reveals to her the makings of the Nine Realms and the Bifröst, he almost sets out to leave, but the arrival of the Warrior's Three and his childhood friend Sif delays his departure. Learning that he's been fooled by his own brother, and feeling the hurt that comes with the deep sense of betrayal that comes with the news, Thor decides to find a way to go back home, to sort out this mess with his family. But Loki has other plans for him and soon enough, the God of Thunder finds himself facing the Gardian of Asgard's Vault, send by Loki to destroy him. Seeing the metal giant almost killing his friends, Thor walks up to it, asking his brother to take his life but spare the humans' ones, saying that they were innocent and had no part in their feud. This moment shows how Thor has grown in the few days he was on Midgar: its people showed him enough kindness that he has come to love them and has come with the will to protect them from a war that doesn't concern them. He's humbled enough that he admits that this is all his fault and that he should be the only one paying for his mistakes. He sacrifices himself for his friends and that makes him worthy again of Mjolnir and his God-like powers.

Back to his God-self and leaving Midgar after defeating the Iron Giant (and after letting know Agent Coulson that he's on the human's side of the conflict), Thor returns to Asgard to save his father and to expose his brother as the traitor that let in the Frost Giants inside the High Realm. Thor's love for Loki is evident, as the God of Thunder can not understand why his brother did what he did. He tries to stop Loki from destroying Jutenheim by using the Bifröst, telling his brother that no race, no matter who theyr are, deserves to be wiped out, even the Frost Giants. This demonstrates that Thor has learned that everyone has their importance, not only Gods and Asgardians. Despite being acclaimed as a hero after his actions saved his realm, the God of Thunder mourns the lost of his brother and his experiences with the humans has humbled him enough that he admits to his father that he's not ready to be a king, that he realizes he still has a lot to learn from Odin.

Throughout the movie, more than just Thor's pride is underlined. There's his courage, which is at the root of all his warrior's exploit as well as his self-sacrifice to protect the humans. His deep love for his family, which causes him to try hard to gain his father's approval, as well as making him feeling deeply betrayed by his brother's actions. It also makes him save his brother when the bridge to the Bifröst breaks despite their different views of the world. Thor's interactions with the humans shows that he was ill-prepared for his journey to Earth. He isn't familiar with the culture and with our habits, causing funny moments for those around him. Thor also has a good sense of humor and likes to tease his friends.

[Specialties/Abilities]

Thor's abilities and superpowers
Mjolnir's abilities

Here's the detailed capping of his abilities:

Superhuman Strength: Thor can easily lifting heavy things up to a school bus. Beyond that, it'll demand a considerable effort on his end and anything heavier than a house will be too heavy for him.

Superhuman Stamina, Superhumanly Dense Tissue, Invulnerability and Regenerative Healing Factor: Unlike on Asgard, Thor will be subject to death in Somarium. His stamina is still legendary, but he'll need to consomme more food than usual to keep up with his normal stamina. His healing factor will be slowed down and will be impaired by poison and diseases associated with events. Thor won't be able to catch common colds, but if an event causes certain symptoms, he will be affect by them, to a varying degree depending on the effects. It's also possible to injury him and more so when he's not wearing his Asgardian armor.

As for Mjolnir, I'd like to keep its enchantment intact (the one that only the worthy can wield it). However, its ability to control weather will be diminished to being able to summon elements that are within season, so to speak. As an example, Thor wouldn't be able to create snow during summer, or tornadoes in winter.

[Affection] Brohugs are always welcome. Ladies, kisses on the hand is an essential with the God of Thunder. With the right CR, friendship can go a long way.

[Fighting] Thor is a very well rounded and experienced warrior and will fight to protect the innocents, his friends and his family. He can be short tempered and simply punch back if riled up enough for it. Due to the fact that he's a God, it's very hard to injury him but it can be done. I'd rather not have my character die, but this can be discussed for plot and character growth purpose.

[Other Permissions] No fourth walling please.
